Bad Driving as a Relationship Red Flag
Blatant relationship red flags discussed in this newsletter before:
isolation from family and other support,
creating economic dependence,
putting hands around the neck,
punching holes in the wall,
smashing dishes.
There’s another red flag almost never mentioned: bad driving.
In this context, bad driving means normal driving habits are drastically changed to scare a partner. Some people are just awful drivers, and that is a different conversation.
A famous example of this was when Dahlia Dipplito floored the gas when her husband asked her an uncomfortable question. To change the subject, she almost killed them both by zooming on a Florida freeway at 190 m.p.h. until he said he believed her.
