War of Words Becomes War of Actions
It has always been my goal to bring hope to our dim times, by giving perspective and a gimlet eye to events in our world.
So it is with optimism we discuss the war in Korea. Yes, the Korean War is still going on as an official war. There has been a considerable cooling-down in recent decades. But in the last few weeks, that conflict has become more intense, but not in the way you might imagine.
It Began with Words
As with most aggressions, it started with words. North Korea blamed South Korea for giving them COVID.
“You gave us COVID!”
“We did NOT!”
“Yes you did!”
“Naa-uhhh!”
In the last month, North Korea has been sending balloons filled with actual poop over the border to South Korea as retaliation for getting COVID. Of course, South Korea had to respond to such dastardly provovation and started pointing loudspeakers at their enemy to the north with messages designed to upset the government of North Korea - assurances of love and …
