So someone decided to annoy Mike Tyson. He asked them to stop. They wouldn’t. Then Mike Tyson hit them. Repeatedly.

What Were You Thinking?

Now, I’m as opposed to violence as anyone else. But - it’s Mike Tyson. What was the plan? Mike Tyson bit the ear of an opponent during a boxing match. You might not know much about boxing, but biting ears is not a part of it. I can reasonably guess the annoying airline passenger had no evidence that Mike Tyson was a person who would be persuaded by talking. There are no videos of him engaging in rigorous debate. No in-depth interviews about the issues of the day can be found. Plenty of evidence suggests that Mike Tyson solves his problems with controlled violence.

It also shows critical thinking is a survival skill.
