Fascism Step One - Check
I lost four subscribers earlier this month when I suggested that the Washington Post, the New York Times and other publications were paving the way to fascism by starting to obey Trump in advance. Who’s sorry now?
The Washington Post did not endorse a Presidential candidate on the orders of Bezos, its owner. The LA Times also did not endorse a Presidential candidate due to the intervention of its owner. The New York Times did endorse a Presidential candidate.

Because enough people in both cases voluntarily extended their services to the new leaders, Nazis and communists alike realized that they could move quickly toward a full regime change. The first heedless acts of conformity could not then be reversed.
