Simulated prison cells to teach those Hong Kong kids a lesson! Below is a photo of young children given the experience of prison.
Heavy-handed “lessons” always are mocked by the young, often for the rest of their lives. Every one of them is going to laugh in 30 years about that stupid metal cage they had to sit in for a nanosecond. Some of them will actually be in metal cages, but they will still laugh.
This behavioral strategy brings to mind the simple fact that persuasion can backfire.
