Wow! Didn’t see that Ukrainian invasion happening, did you?
There’s a German saying: “you can believe whatever you want, if you stand in the rain you will get wet.”
There has been a trend since 2016 of people trying to convince us that “facts don’t matter.” It is an argument that is much harder to make today than yesterday. There is no spin or interpretation to counter the bold reality of a Russian invasion into the Ukraine.
Resilience
I just don’t feel like another analysis of the distortion of language and thinking. Honestly, I’m emotionally worn out from this Ukrainian war starting.
The implications for Russia’s fear-induced attack are new to most Americans. Others of us were raised practicing nuclear attack survival drills in school. Let’s put all that aside for now.
