I know how to break AI. I figured it out.
The perceived value of AI is that workers can be replaced with bots. Already mega corporations like Facebook are putting the brakes on hiring coders because of this fantasy that their work can be done by a computer program that copies code from other sources.
This AI stuff is being put into every computer program against our will. The results are less than impressive: “smart” content (barf), self-driving cars, teacher-replacement and personalize learning. So far, people have been hit by cars, kids cheat on homework and tests, and every idiot on the block promotes a newsletter that reads like twice-chewed cud. Can you send hate mail to a bot?
While the ensuing few years is going to get very entertaining, we can’t wait that long or suffer the damages from this type of computer program in our lives.
