Thanksgiving Meditation
Somewhere, I learned of a meditation where you chew slowly and taste each bit of food in your mouth before you swallow it.
Seemed an appropriate thing to mention before Thanksgiving. Maybe it will help you avoid family arguments about Critical Race Theory. Oh yeah, and don’t talk with your mouth full. That’s a big one, too. It has the practical benefit of reducing the chances of choking during dinner.
This chewing meditation ties in with doing something slowly and thoughtfully, but digestion-oriented. Like a walking meditation for your teeth.
Try it out and let me know how it went.
