Since the FBI is notoriously horrible at intelligence analysis, I thought I’d pitch in with some insight.

The real threat of violent attacks is from disillusioned MAGAs. Not the left.

A rhetoric of violence lays the groundwork for violent actions. No surprise there. And when a group is primed for violent action, they can pivot all on their own to find a target that meets their grudge of the moment. It is a mistake to think the mob can always be controlled.

The United States has developed this weird connection between free speech and shooting guns. It is not enough to shout in the town square, now you have to shoot it up, too. Or drive your car through it. That shows you really mean it.

So here we are.
