Reinterpreting the Mango Mussolini

President Trump had a press conference that was designed to upset people and render our mainstream reporters as useless as sputtering faucets. He was successful on that point. But the old saying “if you react to crazy people, you become crazy” applies. Trump’s crazy-making speeches are designed to get the world chasing its tail.

Everyone is reacting to a President threatening all sorts of disruptions just because he likes to see people wince. Don’t give it to him.

Don’t give him your fear.

Bullet points vs. (what he really means):

  • Spend one billion in the U.S. and we will make sure you don’t have to worry about environmental regulations (I want to look like a wheeler-dealer kind of guy.)

  • It’s really the Injustice Department. Nobody has won as many cases as I have against the Justic Department. That’s a sick group of people. Jack Smith is a mean, nasty guy. He’ll execute everybody. (I just make stuff up.)

  • When I was President, we had the greatest economy in the history of our country, the borders were sealed and beautiful, we had no wars, we defeated ISIS and would have been out of Afghanistan with dignity and strength. (If I say it, they will think it.)
