Scamming a Scammer

YouTuber Kitboga has made a career on conning telephone scammers, which would be the ultimate in dark persuasion.

The Set Up

First, Kitboga poses as “the perfect victim” - an elderly woman. He uses a voice synthesizer to made his “Martha” credible, shows the scammers a bank account with money and buys gifts cards. But in their greed, the scammers chase him around for days trying to explain how to get them the money. “Martha” can’t quite seem to understand. The entire time, Kitboga is just goofing on them. And filming it for us. Watching these videos is a perfect passive revenge for anyone who has gotten one of these calls.

Kitboga enjoys tormenting people who cheat his family and friends.

Selling It

When “Martha” does not to remember a password and starts talking to herself about it, the scammer starts yelling obscenities in Hindi. The tension is escalated when Kitboga takes another call and tells the scammers that “she” told the other callers her password instead. The scammer yells “those are hackers! don’t tell them!” in a delightful exchange.

But there’s a new twist in the scam-Grandma-for-her-money game.
