It can be hard to admit, but left on our own, any person can fall over into crazy.

We need others.

We need to trust.

Goofballs in the past have told me they don’t trust anyone. “So you never go to the doctor because you don’t trust that they will help you instead of try to kill you? You drive expecting everyone to ignore traffic lights and stop signs? How?” Of course, there was no answer to the questions, only sputtering and exceptions.

Humans developed because of trust. We are an apex predator because of it.

Con artists and predators abuse the trust needed to keep society going.

How do you protect yourself against that?
