I’m In With the In-Crowd
So when a conspiracy theory turns out to be right, what do you do?
Remember the Glorious Days of March 2020 when we all thought this COVID lockdown would be 4 to 6 weeks, tops? At about that time we were told that masks wouldn't prevent infections by Dr. Fauci and that COVID came from a bat in a wet market in Wuhan, China.
Anybody who suggested that the virus came from an NIH-funded laboratory in China was ridiculed. They lost credibility and were publicly denounced - basically thrown out of the media club and lumped in with Alex Jones. From The Guardian in 2020:
There is no current evidence to suggest that coronavirus leaked from a Chinese research laboratory, intelligence sources have told the Guardian, contradicting recent White House claims that there is growing proof this is how the pandemic began.
