Worcester Woes

By now most people have seen the video of ICE dragging a screaming woman into a car in Massachusetts and how her neighbors tried to stop it. If you haven’t, click on the photo below.

What’s important about this event is that the resistance didn’t work. People tried to surround the woman to protect her from ICE sweeping her away, but they failed. No one even knows where she is now. Coupled with that was local law enforcement support of ICE agents - rather than a tax-paying resident.

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: VIOLENCE WON’T WORK. It is what they are prepared for and a game they will win. Here, people who threw coffee or tried to get between ICE and their target were arrested.

Perhaps most disturbingly of all, some “resistance” personalities have talked about this event, but don’t even mention that the woman was swept away to an unknown place. Titles like “Neighbors Swarm ICE Agents” are misleading and implies that tactic succee…
